The Debut of the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV

Driving toward an all-electric future, Chevrolet is set to release the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV in the fall of 2023. The electric compact SUV will join the manufacturer’s lineup of electric vehicles, like the Silverado EV, Blazer EV, Bolt EV, and Bolt EUV. With an estimated starting price of just $30,000, the Chevrolet Equinox EV will feature up to a GM-estimated 300 miles of range electric, an available 17.7-in. diagonal freeform display screen, approximately 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging, and an 8-yr./100,000-mi. battery limited warranty.

The interior takes technology to the next level with an available massive 17.7-inch diagonal driver-centric freeform display and personalized ambient lighting that puts a spotlight the person behind the wheel.

Making the Most Out of Every Mile

Whether it’s a quick jaunt or long journey, the 2024 Equinox EV will be able to cover up to 300 miles of electric range on a full charge. When enabled, Regen on Demand and One Pedal Driving help convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into energy stored in the battery to help drivers get the most out of every mile. It also features front wheel drive and Chevrolet SuperCruise.

Stacking a Suite of Safety Features 

In addition to Chevy Safety Assist, the Equinox EV will come equipped with Reverse Automatic Braking. This new technology can alert drivers and automatically provide hard emergency braking to help avoid collisions with detected vehicles and objects directly behind when the vehicle is in reverse. The suite of safety features also include:

Turning Heads at All Five Trim Levels 

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV will be available in five trim levels. Offering more premium features compared to the entry-level model, the RS trims are typically the most popular, and the Equinox will be offered in both the 2RS and 3RS trim levels. For the 2RS, SUV performance and capability is wrapped in a bold and sporty design that is sure to impress. Meanwhile, the 3RS offers an amazingly bold and athletic design paired with the performance and high-end technology that will evoke electric envy. In addition, the Equinox EV will also be available in 1LT and 2LT trim levels, which won’t be available until spring of 2024.
