For the 2024 Chevy HD models, the durability of the Allison 10-speed transmission is paired with both Silverado HD powerplants. And because the best can always get better, the Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8 engine has been enhanced with 470 horsepower for a Gross Combined Weight Rating of 26,000 pounds, up from 24,000 pounds previously.

The 2024 Silverado HD is dually paired with the available Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8, allowing drivers to tow over 30,000 pounds.
