The Electric Blazer’s Debut 

Plug in and turn heads in the all-new Chevy Blazer Electric. Ideal for the journey ahead, the all-electric midsize SUV will be available in a power-boosting Super Sport (SS) trim. Chevy’s newest electric vehicle is expected to hit dealers in Spring 2023. The Blazer EV will combine Chevrolet’s unrivaled quality with the efficiency of an EV and boost style with a special SS badge package. 

Sneak Peek at the All-New blazer

Chevrolet recently shared a sneak peek at the all-new Chevrolet Blazer SS EV in a teaser video. It’s only a short glimpse at the first Chevy EV to feature a performance SS model. General Motors is planning an official debut for the Chevy Blazer EV later this year, so it’s not revealing all of the details yet, but you can expect some special surprises in store. 

The All-Electric Future Runs on Ultium 

The heartbeat of our all-electric future is General Motors’ all-new modular Ultium Platform. Thanks to Ultium’s pouch cell design, the platform will easily accommodate a wide range of EV styles and sizes. Ultium gives Chevrolet electric vehicles range, power, and flexibility for all. 

The foundation of a modular, flexible EV lineup, Ultium features modular battery and drive unit combinations. It’s designed to make electric for everyone. That’s why Ultium is flexible enough to build a wide range of trucks, SUVs, crossovers, cars, and commercial vehicles with outstanding design, performance, range, and affordability. It will first be outfitted on the all-new Silverado EV, and Ultium will power the all-new electric Blazer. 

Wireless Electric Range 

Ultium Drive, made up of electric motors, single-speed transmissions, and their integrated power electronics, gives Chevy electric cars their power and torque. Fewer wires equal less weight and a longer ranger when you’re out on the road. GM will be the first automaker to use an almost completely wireless battery management system for EVs, so your charge port won’t keep you chained to a charging system. The system will power multiple types of EVs from a common set of battery components and make Chevrolet batteries easier to reuse for second-life applications.
