Jacksonville ZOOlights

When: December 10-12, 17-19, 22-24 & 26

Where: Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens

Looking for Christmas lights Jacksonville, FL? The 10th annual ZOOLights, a fantastical holiday light experience set to transform Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, will take guests on a magical journey of the artistry of lights, sound, and nature itself. During this nightly event, the animals settle down for their long winter’s nap, while the lights take center stage. The season will come alive through different zones combined with twinkling replicas of zoo animals, Wildlife Carousel rides, mesmerizing lights, musical performances, carolers, and visits from Santa Claus.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer: The Musical

When: December 21 @ 7pm

Where: The Florida Theatre 

The beloved TV classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off-screen and onto the stage. Come see all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life at the Florida Theatre.

Dazzling Nights

When: November 19 – January 9

Where: Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens will transform into a magical wonderland this holiday season featuring a million dazzling lights, shining forests, magical displays and beautiful sculptures during “Dazzling Nights”, a family friendly adventure that gives guests the opportunity to embark on a three-quarter-mile interactive holiday experience. Tickets must be purchased for a specific time and date. $22 per person weekdays, $25 per person weekends.

New Year’s Eve celebration

When: December 3

Where: Along the St. Johns River, Downtown Jacksonville, Florida

The City of Jacksonville invites you to say goodbye to 2021 and welcome in the New Year at the annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks. The waterfront and skyline will serve as a backdrop for this amazing display over the St. Johns River. Fireworks will begin at exactly midnight.

New Year’s Eve: Rhapsody in Blue Eyes

When: December 31

Where: Jacoby Hall

For an amazing Jacksonville New Year’s Eve, ring in the near year with Rhapsody in Blue Eyes. Tony DeSare and the Symphony bring you the best songs of Sinatra, and Gershwin’s extraordinary Rhapsody in Blue. All followed by the best New Year’s party in town featuring dancing to The Chris Thomas Band, champagne and the best viewing location for the fireworks right outside the door.
