Towing a heavy load can be challenging, but with up to 15 available camera views, the Chevy Silverado allows you to see around your truck and trailer for a confident towing experience. Rear-Vision
The HD rear-vision package comes with a Silverado backup camera mounted on the tailgate to provide a rearview, so you can view the scene directly behind the Silverado. With the Silverado tailgate with camera, you can easily maneuver through tight spaces and park your vehicle.
Hitch Views
On the driver’s console, you can press the Hitch button for hitch view, which provides a close-up view of the receiver hitch when trying to align your Silverado with the trailer.
Also, the available bed view camera system adds a second rearview camera near the bedlight. With this camera, drivers can see inside the bed to ensure all cargo is safe. It’s also useful for gooseneck hitching or 5th wheeling.
Trailer Views
If you own a trailer, it’s important to watch over the interior and exterior of the trailer. Chevy lets users access two essential trailer views. The inside trailer view lets you monitor inside cargo or trailer content using an auxiliary accessory camera mounted in the trailer. An available rear trailer view uses a camera mounted on the rear of the trailer to show vehicles or objects behind the trailer.
Driving View
The HD surround vision offers a grille-mounted camera, side view cameras on the outside rearview mirrors, and the rear camera mirror.
Drivers can access the front camera view on their dashboard to see the spacing in front of their truck. This assists with parking, tight maneuvers, and off-roading. Additionally, the front side views demonstrate the scene of the front tires. The rear side view allows drivers to see the sides of their vehicle to see any nearby objects.
