The Tahoe is one beast of a full-size SUV. At Gordon Chevy, we admit that we may be a little biased, but we’d put the Tahoe up against any other full-size sports utility vehicle on the market. The 2021 model has several improvements that both drivers and passengers can appreciate. That includes a 40 percent increase in third-row legroom and a 66 percent increase in cargo space behind the third row.
Read on for comparisons to other SUVs, such as the Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Pathfinder, and the Toyota Venza. Visit our website to browse our current inventory of used cars Orange Park, FL.

The 2021 Tahoe features both a standard 355-hp 5.3-liter, an available 420-hp 6.2-liter option as well as a.3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine. All engine options get paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with the option of RWD or AWD. The Toyota 4Runner, on the other hand, has a single powertrain offering in the 4.0-liter V-6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.
Not quite a compact, but not really a mid-size SUV, the Venza is a brand-new edition for the 2021 model year. That is to say, it doesn’t have much of a track record. It offers an 8.0-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto which is great. But the Tahoe also offers those features only with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a Bose audio system, and two 12.6-inch displays mounted behind the front seats. We’ll stick with the Tahoe on this one. Perhaps it is a bit unfair to compare the Nissan Pathfinder and the Tahoe considering that the Tahoe is all new for the 2021 model year and the Pathfinder, well, isn’t. As a result, this Nissan SUV feels a bit dated compared to the Chevy’s increased passenger and cargo space and upgrades the 2021 Tahoe interior.
