The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD is coming and is better than ever. With updates to its entire appearance and performance capabilities, Chevy fans have shown genuine excitement for this all-new heavy-duty truck.

Performance

The same V8, 6.6-liter, 401-horsepower gasoline engine from 2023 is offered in 2024, now paired with a 10-speed auto Alison transmission. In addition, a new powertrain is now available, featuring a Duramax turbo-diesel V6 engine that can deliver up to 470 horsepower. Compared to the turbo-diesel engine from the 2023 model year, which had a towing capacity of 18,510 pounds, this latest turbo-diesel engine has a towing capacity of 22,500 pounds.

Exterior and Interior

The Chevrolet Silverado HD boasts several advanced safety and driver assistance features that are included as standard. These features are designed to give drivers increased confidence when operating the vehicle.

You’ll also notice a redesigned front end highlighted by a prominent grille with horizontal bars and stacked headlamps encased in a C-shaped LED ribbon. It comes with various cabin styles and bed lengths to choose from, and some of its trims feature skid plates and a power liftgate, among other advanced features.

The 2024 Silverado HD comes with a range of interior configurations. Its dashboard is user-friendly with easy-to-use switchgear, and the crew-cab, short-box setup provides more passenger space.
